--HISTORY

Unlimited Concrete Solutions, LLC was founded in 1999 by Robert "Dewey" Cockerill as a specialty concrete contractor in Washington Court House, Ohio. Dewey found a niche in the construction of Wal-Mart stores. The company was lead by hard work and a will to succeed by Dewey and his son Casey Cockerill, who handled building the flatwork pouring and finishing. Both Dewey and Casey are hands on the work and offer the “ownership attention” that customers appreciate. UCS built a strong reputation for high quality craftsmanship at very competitive prices. Integrity and a close bond with employees and clients have been Dewey and Casey’s trademark.

In 2002, Jim Chaney joined UCS and strengthened and grew the place and finish capabilities. Our Somero S-160 laser screed and later the Somero SXP laser screed were really put to work and large warehouses and disribution centers became a main part of the business plan. Jim brought with him a number of customers that he had been working with for many years. His great work ethic and commitment to them was transferred to UCS and now repeat customers make up the foundation of our client base.

On May 13, 2004, Art Martin joined the duo completing the circle of experience and expertise. Art is a registered professional engineer and has 36 years of experience in construction project management and estimating from site development and earthwork through general contracting. His skills in estimating, scheduling, value engineering and cost analysis have helped strenghen UCS' corporate infrastructure.
